David McCullough will be the special guest of the Camden Public Library on Saturday, August 13, to discuss his new book, The Greater Journey - Americans in Paris.

His Book Talk will take place at the Camden Opera House at 1:30 p.m. (tickets required), and afterwards, from 3 to 5 p.m., he will be signing books at the Camden Public Library. Tickets, $16.50, are available through the Camden Public Library's website at www.librarycamden.org, or by calling the library at 236-3440.

In his new book David McCullough, who has twice won both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, tells the largely untold, until now, story of what three generations of talented young Americans who traveled to Paris in the 19th century seeking excellence brought back and gave to America as a consequence of their experience in Paris.
