Husson University has added a new Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a Pre-Law Concentration degree to its fall course offerings at its College of Business. John R. Michaud, director for the School of Legal Studies at Husson's College of Business, says, "Students graduating from this program will be well prepared for the rigors of the law school. Since the coursework teaches graduates how to analyze situations and make educated arguments based on specific reasoning and principles, this degree will also be valuable for students pursuing careers in criminal justice or business."

The foundation course covers skills and values that are recommended by the American Bar Association as important to a pre-law education, including analytic and problem-solving skills, skill in oral and written communication, research skills and the ideals of public service and the promotion of justice.
