Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 9 Water Street in Rockland, will hold an artist reception and talk on Saturday, April 8, about University of New England’s “Critter Collaboration,” on display in the Center’s gallery. Doors open at 1 p.m. for the reception, and at 2:00, UNE Artist in Residence Kim Bernard and several UNE marine science students will talk about the program in which the students “teamed up” with a selected sea creature to produce a “collaborative” piece of art. The gallery will remain open until 3 p.m. For more information, visit mainecoastislands.org.
