Asian Food, Better Computer Skills, CPR with RSU 40 Adult Ed

RSU 40 Adult Education spring classes, at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, will include:
• “Asian Fusion Finger Foods” with Chef Chris Toy on Tuesday, March 21, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. — Making and munching on bacon-wrapped new potatoes with duck sauce, smoked salmon Rangoon, hot-and-sour chicken wings, and roasted spare ribs in hoisin sauce. Bring a container to take home leftovers (“just in case”). Fee is $39 (includes food costs).
• CPR/AED/ Standard First Aid – Adult & Pediatric with Andrew Eckman, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 and 28 — Latest techniques for dealing with heart attacks, strokes, broken bones, etc.; includes use of asthma inhalers and epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPens). Course is approved for daycare providers by Maine DHHS, and by U.S. Coast Guard for maritime licensing. Fee is $74.
• “Computing for the Marginally Competent: Going Beyond the Basics” with Teresa Johnson, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 and 29 — Will explore finding and organizing files, various “save” features, system maintenance, e-mail attachments and effective web browsing. Fee is $34.
