Officer Andrew Redden was selected as Rockland Police Department Officer of the Year for 2016. In his letter to Redden concerning the selection, Rockland Police Chief Bruce Boucher said, in part, “Selection criteria for this notable award are based on your performance of duties that demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and commitment to the principles of the mission of the Rockland Police Department. The nominating committee consists of the Deputy Chief, one supervisor, one officer and one civilian employee.
