Strand’s “Shaken, Not Stirred” Party to Benefit Children’s Museum

On Thursday, March 30, there will be a showing of the first 007 movie, “Dr. No,” with a VIP cocktail party before the movie, to benefit the nonprofit Coastal Children’s Museum in Rockland. The party begins at 5 p.m. Arrive at 7 p.m. to attend the viewing of the film only.
For $30, VIPs will be treated to two drinks, with a themed martini made just for the party, custom-designed Bond hors d’oeuvres provided by Save Your Thyme Catering, trivia games, and themed raffle baskets with contents donated by local businesses. Those attending are encouraged to dress the part and stay for the movie afterwards.
Those who wish can enjoy the film for a $10 suggested donation. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Winners will be announced at the end of the movie; one need not be present to win.
VIP tickets can be purchased at the Strand website or box office during open hours. Movie-only tickets will be available at the door.
