Kerry Gross, a passionate outdoorswoman, has developed Women Who Dare, a project to create a podcast of interviews with courageous women in a variety of fields, and is currently crowdfunding the project and seeking recommendations of women to take part. Any woman is eligible for recommendation, as long as she inspires others; suggestions will be accepted until March 31. Gross, who grew up in Camden and earned her MA from Indiana University in 2016, enjoys running, biking, skiing and orienteering. She is currently living in South Lake Tahoe. Once the recommendation period ends, she will plan a cross-country route to visit as many Women Who Dare as possible on bicycle this summer, and will return to Maine to compile and release the podcast. For more information and to suggest a woman for the project, visit kerrygross.com/womenwhodare. Crowdfunding kicked off in February and has reached 25 percent of its $7,188 goal; see www.indiegogo.com/projects/women-who-dare-bike-podcast/x/15969086#.
