The school counselors of RSU 13 are sponsoring a three-part Mental Health Series of presentations, all open to the public at no cost. Each session will take place on Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at South School (the former Rockland District Middle School at 30 Broadway). Two contact hours will be awarded for each session attended.

On March 16, Cara Miller, a natural health consultant and therapeutic body worker, will present “Self-Care and Holistic Health.”

On April 27, Lisa-Ann Henry, LCPC, LADC, ACS will present “Engage or Enrage: Conflict Resolution Strategies in the Classroom.”

On May 18, Sue Campbell, director of OUT Maine, and Aiden Campbell, cofounder of Walking Life’s Path, will present “Creating Welcoming and Affirming Schools: Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Students.”
