| Harold Alfond College Challenge Grant - | | 3/18/2010 10:17:00 AM | Email this article • Print this article | Mary Ann Ordelt, RN, left, and Diane Nickerson, CNA, of the Women and Infants Health Care Unit at Waldo County General Hospital recently received treats from representatives of the Harold Alfond College Challenge Program, in honor of the birthday of the late Maine philanthropist Harold Alfond and to thank the nurses at the hospital for their role in telling parents about the Harold Alfond College Challenge Grant. This is a program that will provide $500 to every Maine baby to open a NextGen College Investing Plan account, provided the account is opened by the baby's first birthday.
